Our Services
We can provide brief (6-week), goal-oriented counseling, depending on the need, or longer term individual, family, or group counseling (therapy) services to children and adults from a Native perspective. Our focus is to support you in your healing process and support you should you incorporate traditional medicines. We serve those that are going through changes in their personal journey, those that are seeking professional help with anxiety, depression, trauma responses, stress, grief, shame, guilt, lack of motivation, and support with difficult decisions.
We can provide individual teletherapy services, that is therapeutic counseling services using a face-to-face video communication systems through a computer or phone. For teletherapy services to work for your needs, you will need the following:
private internet (or a hot spot)
a smartphone or a computer
a private and quiet space for the 55 minute session
Payment/Insurances
Because we are a collective, we work individually within this group and may individually take different insurances.
Insurances we accept are CO Access, Aetna, Anthem, BCBS, Centivo, Cigna, Elevance, Evernorth, Friday Health, Kaiser (out-of-network), Medicare, Optum, Oscar, Triwest, and United Healthcare.
We accept out-of-pocket payment and offer an affordable sliding fee scale that we use for out of pocket payers. Our sliding fee scale is income and household based and ranges from $50 to $115 for a 53 minute session (Denver area average is $130-$190 per session). Please contact us for more details. Group therapy rates are different depending on group material and amount of attendees.
Therapy Types
Individual
Individual counseling is a personal and confidential opportunity to receive support and experience growth during rough or challenging times. Individual counseling can help one deal with many personal topics in life such as:
anger or depression
anxiety
trauma symptoms
substance use
marriage and relationship challenges
parenting problems
school difficulties
career concerns
Family/Relationship
Family or relationship therapy brings parents, siblings, partners, and extended family members such as aunts, uncles and grandparents into the treatment process. Every individual is, in part, a product of the environment they grew up in. Family plays an important role in our emotional, physical and spiritual development since each individual in the family system impacts and is impacted by the others. Family therapy may be helpful to:
Resolve a specific issue
Prepare the family for a major life change such as a divorce or remarriage
Address the role that family plays in an individual’s life
Group (generally 60-90 mins)
See HERE for current groups being offered.
Group therapy helps people work through problems by interacting with a counselor and a group of individuals with similar struggles. In a safe, confidential setting, each group member can share personal experiences, feelings and issues and receive feedback and support from the rest of the group. In addition to talk therapy, group therapy can involve:
Educational lectures or workshops
Support groups or skills training groups
Expressive therapies such as beading, sewing, art
Integrative therapies such as dance or meditative walks
Social, cultural and educational group outings/activities
